Electronic pH meter

Measurement method

Remove the cover of the device. Crystals appearing on the surface of the electrode are a natural phenomenon and must be removed before measurement.
Immerse the device in water to the level indicated on the body. Mix gently, wait about 30 seconds and the display will stabilize.
When you're done, read the measurement. Do not forget to dry the device after each measurement. You can protect the electrodes with a special electrode storage fluid.
ATTENTION! If readings differ for the same fluid, calibrate the meter using the solutions provided and the calibration button on the body. A description of the calibration can be found in the user manual of the device.

pH meter calibration

• 1. To open the calibration powder, add 250ml distilled or pure water (do not use tap water or mineral water). Dip the pH electrode into standard mixed phosphate buffer pH 6.86 and shake gently.
• 2. Press the CAL button, automatic calibration will occur until the displayed value and the standard pH 6.9 buffer solution match the ambient temperature.
• 3. As above, the electrode was placed in a standard potassium bicarbonate phosphorous acid buffer solution pH 4.01.
• 4. About two minutes or so. The displayed value must be within the error tolerance compared to the pH value of the buffer solution.
